# Activating your account
You'll need to activate your account, this process is quite simple, enter on your exchange and deposit at least 5 WAXP with the required MEMO to the address **newsuser.wax**.
* You can also buy the WAXP through other ways, like credit card.
* Your wallet address will be newuser.wax until you finish up the account creation process, after it you'll receive a newly one!
* In this example we used the Binance Exchange to make the required deposit, note that we put the MEMO, **don't forget to type this information or your WAXP will be lost!!!**
* Confirm the infos and make the withdraw to your new account.
